Xordle
Xordle is a word puzzle game similar to Wordle, developed by Josh Wardle. The objective of the game is to correctly guess the secret word within six tries. In each line, you must enter a 4-to-11-letter word to determine which letter is in the target word. According on the entered word, the letters will be highlighted in one of three colors. After each attempt, the color of the letters will change; this is a tip to assist you correctly arrange the letters and guess the secret phrase.
Color marking:
Green if green in any term (right, right letter).
Yellow if the color occurs in either word (correct letter, wrong place).
Gray if the letter is not present in either term.
What is the optimal opening phrase?
At the beginning of the game, attempt to use a word with as many vowels as possible and no repeated characters, such as "radio." However, mathematician Grant Sanderson discovered that "CRANE" or "SLOTH," which contain commonly used letters, are the best starting words.
