Twordle
Welcome to Twordle, the multiplayer companion of Wordle! If you are unfamiliar with Wordle, I suggest you play it to have a solid knowledge of it before returning here. For this, the same procedures are utilized to solve problems. Several versions are mentioned below.
If you type your username incorrectly, you may change it by pressing the name in the upper-left corner. Due to the case sensitivity of the name, "John" and "john" correspond to distinct users. As it was designed for my girlfriend and myself to play on our iPhones, it is compatible with iPhone XS and iPhone 12 Pro displays. Even if it does not suit other displays or devices, the game is still free to play.
Select your opponent from the selection provided. If the user has already contributed terms to their list, those words will be shown.
You may add words to your list for other players to play by entering them in the "Enter 5-letter word" field and clicking "Add word." If the term is acceptable, the text will be removed and word addition will proceed.
There is no restriction on who you may attempt to guess; however, you must validate that you know the user and that they are okay with it. The first is the liberty to conjecture about me (of Humanity). I will periodically add to my list.
Once a word has been detected properly, it is withdrawn from the user's list and cannot be redefined until the user re-adds it. If there is still a riddle, hit "Next word" after a word is solved or "Skip word" if you choose to skip it. Reloading the page will always return you to the previous page. Your score will be saved as long as the page is not refreshed. Each word has a maximum value of 6 points. A higher score stems from fewer guesses.
The score resets to 0 after reloading, however, touching the point enables you to examine your entire performance. It will reveal all your forecasts as well as those of your current opponent. In parenthesis, players' word lists are shown.
How to play Twordle
There are two words, one vertically to the right and one horizontally to the bottom. You play letters rather than words, using the in-game keyboard to play one letter at a time in a 5 by 5 grid. On any round, you may put a letter on any square.
The cell will change color to indicate if your letter prediction for horizontal or vertical words, or both, is accurate. Below are samples of tile colors and their meanings.
Even if you are correct, do not guess BOTH orange boxes until you know the answers to BOTH words.
After selecting an orange cell, your white cells will no longer function. You have just ONE guess opportunity in both orange answer grids. If you make a bad estimate, you lose.
