Poeltl
Poeltl is a puzzle game for people who really enjoy sports. In this game, you have eight chances to guess the name of an NBA player. You'll get hints about the player's team, conference, division, location, height, age, and jersey number each time you try. Use the arrows and hints to find the right answer. If the game is too hard, try ball mode. If you know more players, that's better. Try your best at this fun game!
How to play Poeltl
The first guess is based on nothing but guesswork. If a player can't think of a name, they can choose one from the drop-down list. The player's team, tournament, division, position, height, age, and jersey number will be shown after the first guess.
In keeping with Wordle's design, correct answers, or "matches," are shown in green, while yellow shows that the user is getting close to the right answer.
Poeltl uses yellow in three places. Yellow in the team colour column means that a player used to play for that team but no longer does. Yellow in the position column means that it is partially correct (like if you guess defender but the player is a back striker). Yellow in the height, age, or shirt number column means that the answer is within two guesses (for example, if you guess 6 foot-8, but the correct answer is 6 foot-10).
Poeltl has a special feature where you can click on a player's shadow at any time to get help. This is not one of the six things you said would happen. Check out the NBA.com Participant Bios page for hints about who the answer is. Have fun!
