Hardle is a word game, a reproduction for those who agree they require three to four guesses per day to discover the words. Vignesh Venkat, a software student and game enthusiast from San Francisco, designed Hardle, a Wordle variant (not just the digital kind). In terms of design, concept, and gameplay, it is remarkably identical to the original.

Similar to Wordle, Hardle is a daily word game that delivers a surprise word. However, you have eight chances (compared to six in Wordle) to determine the secret word. Hardle, on the other hand, employs pink, blue, and grey hues as opposed to Wordle's green, grey, and yellow hues. Here comes the twist.

These pink and blue hues are like twins who spontaneously assume the appearance of the other. This unpredictability is what characterises Hardle as the "Hard Wordle"; for instance, if the pink tiles have all of the correct letters today and the blue tiles have some of the correct letters today, their roles may switch tomorrow.

How do you play the game Hardle?
You have eight chances to answer the daily problem in Hardle. Hardle's hint system uses pink and blue clues (and grey for unusable letters) to indicate the player's proximity to the target word.

For instance, if in today's game the pink tiles display the letters that are all correct (valid letter in the right place) and the blue tiles display the letters that are only partially correct (valid letter in the wrong place), they may switch roles tomorrow so that the pink tiles display the letters that are only partially correct and the blue tiles display the letters that are all correct.

You must locate the relevant letters on a Hardle grid and determine whether the current game reflects a pink or blue day. Since the "meaning" of these colours varies arbitrarily from day to day, it is difficult to predict what will occur and know which colour to utilise to find the suitable word. Best wishes!
