How to play Connecting Games
Match the cards: Prepare a deck of cards, each containing a specific element. These elements can be names of historical figures, events, scientific concepts, works of art, literary works, famous places, etc. Each card should have only one element listed.
Stopwatch: You can use a stopwatch to add a sense of urgency to the game and keep moving speed.

Setup: Shuffle the Connect deck and place them face down in the center of the playing area.
Turn: Each player takes turns being the "connector". The role of the connector is to draw cards from the deck and give each element to the other players.
Draw connections: When the connector renders an element, other players have limited time (e.g. 30 seconds) to find a connection between the presented element and any other elements in the game. play. The association can be based on similarity, historical context, geographical distance, thematic relationship, cause and effect, or any other valid association.
Explain the connection: After the time runs out, each player who makes the connection must explain their reasoning to the group. This step allows for interesting discussions and the exchange of knowledge and ideas.
Scoring (Optional): You can introduce a scoring system to keep track of scores. For example, a connector can reward the player with the most creative or unexpected connection. In addition, the group can jointly decide if a connection is valid and score accordingly.
Next Connector: After all connections for the current element have been discussed, the connector's role passes to the next player clockwise or counterclockwise.
