Adverswordle
Adversary Wordle, or Adverswordle for short, is an inverted version of Wordle in which a bot attempts to guess a 5-letter word that you generate. Adverswordle is a simple concept: instead of racking your brain attempting to figure out a five-letter word in a restricted amount of rounds, as in Wordle, you give the word to an artificial intelligence and watch it sweat.
Simply choose a five-letter word, load the game, and mark the AI's predictions using a known and true method. Click a letter until it becomes green if it is correct and in the correct spot. If anything is accurate but out of context, colour it yellow. As you do so, you can observe the AI's brain in operation, as thought bubbles containing various solutions appear.
Once you've chosen an answer, submit it, and the AI will immediately provide a guess, mocking the amount of time I've spent in the past several weeks staring at a computer screen while playing Wordle.
How to play
Now you must consider a word. Consider a word that is unfamiliar and challenging to guess. This is the correct word. If the word has five letters, you may proceed. The AI or computer will then make a guess, and you will need to record which letters are right and whether they are in the correct order. Turn the light green if the computer or AI guesses the correct letter in the correct location. However, if the correct letter is misplaced, it will turn yellow. In Wordle, though, the positions have been reversed.
The game concludes when the computer guesses the correct word. The ultimate score is determined by the number of right guesses made by the computer. The score rises as more individuals guess.
Unlike Wordle, however, Adverswordle has no limit on the amount of guesses it can make. Therefore, your objective is not simply to defeat your opponent in fewer than five attempts. You are instead attempting to determine how long you can keep the AI guessing. Since there is no restriction on what can be used as a reference, it is just a matter of time before the AI correctly predicts the word. If you attempt to deceive or lie to the system, you will automatically lose. So let's be honest!
